OK, Aggies, I get it. And I understand.
You're upset -- to use a term I can get into the paper -- at Billy Gillispie. You thought he was one of you. That he had embraced everything Texas A&M -- the culture, the whole bit.
He spoke your language. He was a perfect fit.
And when he agreed in principle to a new contract and turned down a job offer to be the next coach at Arkansas, you thought he was content to become a coaching legend at your university, where Gillispie correctly believed he could build a winner -- in contrast to the prevalent opinion among many of his peers.
He made you love him. You have every right to have injured feelings, to feel jilted.
And now get a grip. Snap out of it.
The mere fact that Gillispie thought about Arkansas -- and he did -- should have tipped ...
