Your Lifestyle Changes and Your Family

Jane Doe is turning forty next month. Her husband, John,

and she are healthy and keep regular exercise as part of

their lives. They both feel that they eat right and are

happy with their bodies. Jane has an office job and

teaches fitness classes part-time. John also has a desk

job and is a member of a running club.

Jane feels good about herself, but wonders why her fitness

routine and healthy diet have not yielded the results she

expects. So, in anticipation of being a "forty something",

she decides to revamp her exercise and eating to really

transform her body. She studies up on new

fitness/nutrition science, talks to other fitness

instructors and nutritionists, comes up with a plan for

  herself and implements it.

Although her new plan is not particularly difficult, it

does require that she be more disciplined in her eating

habits, eating schedules and the way she works out. After

her research, she realizes that truly attaining the body

transformation that she wants requires more than just doing

what she has done year after year. In fact, it's yielding

  diminishing returns!

When Jane first explains to John what she intends to do,

John is very supportive. He thinks it's important for Jane

to feel good about herself especially at this time in her

life. Deep down, however, John feels that Jane will

"mellow out" and return to her previous behavior soon

enough. So, any inconvenience to him caused by her

  lifestyle change is temporary…right?

Fast forward a few months. Jane has worked out her dietary

needs, schedules and foods quite nicely. Her workouts are

coming along and she is starting to see real change. She

  likes it…

John, on the other hand, has always felt that he is the

fitter one. After all, his friends always ask his advice

about workouts and fitness. His routine hasn't changed in

10 years, though, and he really doesn't think about the

quality of the food he eats. His attitude is that so long

as he exercises, he can eat what he wants. He has accepted

his slowly growing "love handles" as part of aging. But

now, he seems to be getting older and Jane seems to be

  getting younger!

Fast forward six more months….Jane is really looking and

feeling different. She has remained true to her goals and

everyone comments to her how amazing the changes are.

After all, she was already "fit" before. When she and John

go out, John can see how men are attracted to her like they

were when she was 15 years younger. She exudes a

confidence that he hasn't seen in years.

John is starting to feel insecure with his own body, his

own fitness accomplishments and even his attractiveness to

Jane! He wishes that she would go back to being the

wonderful, "soft" woman she used to be instead of the

hard-body babe she is becoming. He begins to feel

resentment and jealousy of her attention and success.

John has two choices here. He can learn from Jane's

experience, try some things for himself and transform his

body; or he can continue to believe that Jane's methods are

too extreme and resent her success.

If you are over age 35, you probably know more than one

couple with a similar story as Jane and John. You might

even have had the same experience yourself. A physical

transformation by one partner in a couple and not the other

  can lead to adjustment problems.

The message is that we as individuals are solely

responsible for our own physical fitness and health.

However, changes in eating behaviors, work out schedules

and interests do affect the people closest to us in a

variety of ways. Sometimes, like John, resentment develops

in the unchanging partner. Sometimes competition fuels

this, sometimes fear, sometimes a feeling of inadequacy, or

not understanding how important it is to the other partner.

So, if you are the transformer, it's important to listen to

your partner and empathize with the difficulties your

lifestyle and physical changes are causing. As you

transform, be aware of the insecurities that might arise

because you are moving in a new direction and reassure your

partner whenever you have the chance.

If you are the partner who is not currently in the process

of body transformation, talk about the inconveniences,

feelings and insecurities you have. Ask your partner why

he/she feels the need to change so dramatically.

  Communicate your feelings!

Most all of us go through some kind of emotional change in

mid-life which usually has something to do with our body

changes. It may be exasperating to have a partner suddenly

become very particular about their eating habits or

exercise…but an extramarital affair, alcohol/drugs or

shopping addiction would certainly be much more disastrous!

AOL assures their clients that no one from the staff of AOL

asks for their personal or billing information. Also, AOL has

created a system that deactivates accounts as soon as there are

signs that it is used for phishing.

Other recent phishing incidences involve that of the Internal

Revenue Service. There is a way for phishers to know the bank

of their potential victim. Then they pose as an employee of

that bank and send an email to their victim.

Also, social networking sites can be a home base for phishers

because personal details that have been printed online are used

for identity theft. Statistics show that over 70% phishing

attempts are done in social networks.

Another technique used by phishers is coming up with a link in

an email that belongs to a fake organization. They often use

misspelled URLs or sub domains to trick potential victims.

Note the web address and check the @ symbol. For example,

http://www.google.com@members.tripod.com  (Related)   may be a link that can

easily deceive anyone casually observing the page. However,

whoever clicks on this will be merely directed to a page that

  simply does not exist.

To tend to this problem, Internet Explorer and Mozzilla give

users the option of either continuing or canceling their

surfing. With a warning message, the user can just go to that

questionable page or not. Free Scan! See how many errors your

  computer has, at http://www.registry-cleaners-reviewed.info  (Related)

There are some phishing scams that utilize JavaScript commands.

These alter the address bar and are done by imposing a picture

of a credible entity URL over it. These visually deceive a

  casual Internet user.

Another phishing technique is the cross-site scripting. Here,

the culprit uses a legitimate company's own scripts on a

potential victim. In doing so, the user is directed to sign in

for the services of the imposed company. The security

certificates and web address appearing on the page may seem

correct for the non-professional eye. In truth though, this

link the potential victim has clicked on is a way for a phisher

to know his personal and financial information.

How To Become A Web Expert Without Spending A Dime

  Copyright (c) 2007 Jason OConnor

  The Net Gazette

http://www.thenetgazette.net/  (Related)

If I could show you how to become a Web design, development or

marketing expert without spending a dime, would you want to

  learn?

Imagine you're a master at making money online, that you're

passionate, and excited during almost every hour you spend

working. Visualize people coming to YOU for answers to their most

important Web-related questions. Envision emails and phone calls

flooding in every day with eager, prospective customers. Read on

to learn the secret to achieving all of this.

First, discernment and discretion are vital. There are many

programs online, many e-books, many self-proclaimed Web gurus and

so much information today that it's overwhelming and could send

you to the poor-house faster than the speed of digital

  communication.

Where should I go to learn Web marketing? How should I spend my

time? Who should teach me? What websites offer the best

information? How do I make money using the Internet? What are the

most important things I should learn? Should I learn Java or PHP?

What are the fundamentals? How do I write effective copy online?

How long will it take me before I can start my own business? The

answer to all these questions can is . . .

Before I explain, let me tell you a brief story of my inchoate

professional life. I barely knew what a computer while in

college. It was only after living on both coasts playing live

music did I conclude that a career in computers may make me a few

more dollars than a career in music. It was then I decided I

wanted to become a Web expert.

I had first considered attending a high-priced computer school

that a programmer friend had recommended. But I had no money, and

the school required all its students to attend full-time. I

needed to eat and provide a roof over my head, and for that I

needed to work full-time, so this expensive computer school was

out of the question for me.

Although my options were limited, but I diligently looked in the

Want Ads till I found a job that I could possibly do that was

related to computers. The job title was "Internet Exploration

Specialist". I know that sounds slightly strange, but if you had

met my chair-throwing, screaming and eccentric boss-to-be, it

would make a little more sense.

I got the job and outlasted the most optimistic office pool

prediction for how long I would remain working for the

perpetually livid CEO. Looking back, it was probably one the best

things I could have ever done (minus the maniacal boss, that is).

I learned how to surf the Web. I became an expert Internet

peruser, a digital explorer, a website connoisseur, and a

  professional information superhighway surveyor.

At around the same time I learned one of the secrets to becoming

an expert at something. You have to put the time in. People who

remain working in careers that they hate don't put in the extra

time to develop a career in something they love. Pure and simple.

So while I had down time at work, I read books and found websites

that taught me how to do things Web-related tasks. More

importantly, I spent time after work and on the weekends reading,

practicing and developing my Web skills.

Back when I began developing my Web career, the Internet wasn't

as big as it is today. There weren't as many options for

learning Web-related skills. Since I had no money, I simply

searched for free online tutorials, primers and how-to's. They

became my staple for learning. Since I had seriously developed my

Web surfing skills, I inevitably found many highly educational

websites. And there weren't as many scams back then either,

there weren't as many "gurus". Web marketing or e-marketing

hadn't even become terms yet, so I had a lot of success getting

  reliable information.

Today it's different. This is both good news and bad news. I'll

  start with the bad news.

You can't throw a rock into the Internet ocean now and NOT hit a

get-rich-quick plan, a Web marketing curriculum, or an

e-marketing "expert". You've got StomperNet, Portal Feeder,

Pipeline Profits, The Rich Jerk, Strategic Profits and Traffic

Secrets to name only a few. There's too much to choose from and

they all come for a steep price. Now many of these programs may

teach you a lot, but it will cost you. I'm here to say that you

don't need to spend any money. You're reading this for free,

  aren't you?

  But here's the good news.

Because of the way Google ranks websites now, because the very

nature of the Internet as man's most prolific and complete

resource on everything, and because of human nature being curious

and information- driven, the Web has massive amounts of extremely

useful, high-quality, free information. People are falling all

over each other trying to produce and publish high-quality Web

content all at no cost to you.

Again, Google is one reason. One main way Google ranks a website

is by how many authoritative sites link to that website. The best

way to get new links pointing to your site is by creating useful

content that can be accessed by anyone. If the content is fresh,

original and high-quality, people will link to it.

And here's more good news. Of all the subjects there are in the

world, and therefore all of the subjects discussed online, the

  Web is the most popular.

Of course this has to be true. Think about it. Who's doing all

the posting? Webmasters. And what do webmasters know best? The

Web. So you're going to find a huge amount of tutorials,

primers, articles, forum posts, blogs and websites that offer

tons of useful information on how to become good at all kinds of

Web-related things, and all at no charge.

Here are a few tips for effectively searching online.

  * Open up two or three browser windows at a time. One should

have Google, the next Yahoo or MSN Search and the third should be

your working browser. Use all three browsers when searching by

toggling to each of them. Toggling is achieved by pressing

ALT+TAB. By using different search engines, you'll get a wide

  range of different results.

  * Use quotes around your phrases to find exact phrases. This

will give you results that have the words in your phrase only in

  that order.

  * Use long tail search phrases when using a search engine. Long

tail means many words. The more specific your search phrase is,

the more relevant results you'll get. For example, searching in

Google for "free tutorials for beginner web marketers and expert

career advice" instead of "web marketing tutorials" will yield

  more relevant results for you.

  * Use the minus sign to weed out superfluous results. For

example, if you're looking for event tickets and you type in

"Boston tickets", you'll end up with lots of airline related

results. Instead use "Boston event tickets" –airline –flights.

  * Get creative in contructing your search phrases. Combine

  multiple concepts.

  * Don't just use search engines. Join forums like

  WebmasterWorld, DigitalPoint, SitePoint, HighRankings and

SEOChat, visit blogs, and read how-to's and tutorials found in

article directories. Regularly visit authority webmaster sites

like DevGuru, Developer.com, TheNetGazette. net, HTMLprimer.com

  and WebKnowHow.net.

  * Go to and participate in Web 2.0 sites such as PlugIM, FreeIQ,

Digg, Technorati, Simpy, Del.iciou.us, MarkTD, BibSonomy and

  Squidoo.

  * Become good friends with your Favorites or Bookmarks feature

in your browser. Set it up so you develop a well-organized,

useful list of websites, Internet destinations and Web pages and

posts that you can constantly refer back to.

Becoming an expert Web marketer or Web programmer can be done by

putting aside time every day to learn your craft and by becoming

good at finding the right information online that doesn't cost

anything. The more you search for useful information, the better

you'll become at it, and it will soon take you less and less

time to find what you want.

Therefore, the answer to all the questions above is: you'll need

patience, discipline, time management skills, and Internet

searching skills. The searching skills come to you by simply

practicing, by putting the time in online. Everything you need to

know to become a Web expert without spending a dime is literally

a few clicks away online and most of it is free. Get to work.

Shopping Tips For Buying A Consumer Or Commercial Electric Power Generator

  Copyright (c) 2007 Will Gruver

  US Power & Environment

http://www.uspowerco.com  (Related)

We live in a very comfortable world. Air-conditioning keeps us

cool in summer and heaters make sure we never get too cold. We

have cars so we don't have to walk anywhere, and there are

countless kitchen appliances dedicated to making cooking so

simple that a monkey could be a gourmet chef.

None of these staples of daily life would be possible without the

use of significant amounts of power, specifically electricity.

Because of the chronic controversy surrounding petroleum, the

significance of electricity in daily life is often overlooked and

  taken for granted.

It is only in the events of power outages that we are reminded of

how much we depend on this ever-present power source. It is also

in these times without power that the desire to purchase power

generators comes to the forefront of people's minds.

  Power Generators For Home Owners

Once a homeowner decides they need a power generator, there are

many options available to them. Finding the right generator for

their home cannot only be cost effective, but can save them a lot

  of hassle and frustration.

Generators come in one of two styles, either portable generators

or permanent back-up (or "standy by") generators. Portable

generators are easy to move and can be used where and as needed.

Back-up generators are typically installed permanently, so that

they can sense a voltage interruption from the power grid and can

be automatically activated in the event of a power failure in the

  primary electric system.

For typical residential use, using a portable generator is

usually considered a dangerous and labor-intensive last resort

for many reasons. First of all, disasters often occur when it is

dark or even in the middle of the night when people are asleep,

so portable backup generators is frequently impractical for

  homeowners.

Additionally, portable generators can pose a significant danger

to a lot of people. For example, when homeowners try to power

their main service entrance, electric power can be "back fed"

onto the utility lines, putting at risk of electrocution and

death the technicians who are down line trying to fix the grid.

Also, many homeowners frequently station their portable

generators too close to their home's doors, windows and garages,

creating co2 poisoning and fire risks that significantly endanger

  small children and the elderly.

These safety concerns are the primary reason why a permanent

standby generator is recommended for use, instead of a portable

  generator.

WHEN A Portable Generator IS YOUR ONLY OPTION

Portable generators come in as many diverse shapes and sizes as

the structures that they might be used to power. Choosing the

right one depends on the amount of power needed to fuel all of

  the desired appliances.

The range of most portable generators is between 1,500 and 20,000

watts. While the average usage varies significantly between most

  homes, some basic patterns emerge.

To give you an idea as to how much electric power a home might

need from their backup power generator, lights generally use

about 50-200 watts each. Heaters and air conditions use about

6000 watts depending on their size, and refrigerators and

  freezers use around 750 watts.

The best way to determine the output needed to power all

essential appliances in a home or business is to make a list of

essential appliances, and determine how much wattage it would

take to run all of the items the entire list, without overheating

the system. When making a list, try to remember that a generator

would generally only be used in an emergency-type setting, which

would not require a wide variety of luxuries.

To use the energy produced by a portable power generator,

appliances are frequently connected to the generator by an

extension cord. Before purchasing a generator, determine how many

plugs it should have and how many different style of plugs will

need to have plugged into it.

Another option for powering essential systems is to have an

electrician install a transfer switch in the home. This connects

the generator directly to the central power system in the house.

In the event of a power loss, simply start the generator, and

turn on the switch. Transfer switches connect directly into the

houses' main power supply, so it is always best and safest to

hire a professional to do this type of installation for you.

Most portable generators are gas powered. A few generators run on

diesel or an assortment of other fuel sources. Natural gas and

propane are the next most commonly used fuel sources. More

ecologically friendly generators are being developed that will

get started with fuel, but they will work primarily off of

electricity produced by an internal battery.

  PERMANENT STANDBY Generators

While most back-up generators are limited to commercial use,

there are many residential versions available as well. These

residential power backup generators often restore power to a home

in about 20 seconds, in the event of a power outage.

Standby residential generators are installed with automatic

transfer switches that activate as soon as the power goes out and

continues to run until the primary power source is restored. Many

of these generators work on natural gas and are generally hooked

into the homes gas line to eliminate the need to refill them in

  inclement weather.

The power output for back-up generators is considerably greater

than that of portable generators. They are generally available in

ranges from 6,000 watts to upwards of 60,000 watts. Smaller units

are available for those who do not wish to power their entire

homes, but only key systems within the home.

Permanent generators are safer and easier to maintain. They also

operate at lower RPM's (therefore offering much longer and more

useful lives) and are considerably quieter. Most residential

communities require sound attenuated permanent standby generators

  due to city noise ordinances.

  In Conclusion

No matter what style of generator you choose to install in your

home, it is best to know exactly what you need. If you are only

interested in providing yourself with the option to maintain

basic operations in your home, then a portable MAY BE adequate.

If your home is in an area prone to power outages, if you work

out of your house, if you have sensitive electronic equipment

like computers, home theater or entertainment systems, or if you

rely on any type of medical equipment to stay healthy, then a

back-up generator is probably the only option you should

  consider.

By making an informed decision as to how much power you will

actually need, and by having someone to safely install your

backup power system, you can protect you and your family from the

potential hazards associated to your backup power supply needs.

In the world of snoring sufferers, effective snoring treatments

are instrumental in providing positive solutions and sleep for

those that suffer from sleepless nights. Recent studies have

supported that the instruments used focusing on the nasal

passages have facilitated a peaceful night's rest for many

  individual that suffer from snoring.

While utilizing snoring treatments that focus on nasal

assistance is an effort to end snoring, these idea are still in

the preliminary stages. The creation of new and improved ideas

that are designed to bring an end to snoring also bring a light

of hope to those that cannot get a restful night's sleep.

If you or someone you love suffers from snoring, you can

understand how each new product stimulates the excitement that

a restful sleep might be just one more night ahead.

Snoring Treatments That Focus On The Nose

Nasal strips are a snoring treatment that is worn externally

across the bridge of the nose. These strips widen the nasal

valve and open the airway to the throat and lungs. This

anti-snoring remedy is also very popular with professional

athletes who use the strips to promote and increase better

  airflow into their lungs.

Nasal strips are inexpensive, can be purchased without a

prescription and are non-addictive. The strips provide the

benefit of easier breathing by broadening the airways, which in

  turn decreases snoring.

Another snoring treatment product that focuses on the nose to

decrease snoring is the nasal dilator. A nasal dilator is often

made with a stainless steel or plastic coil that is inserted

into the nostrils during sleep. Their purpose is to keep the

airway open and cut down on the vibrations that cause the noise

  of the snoring.

The design is quite simple and easy to use, it almost looks

like a swimmer's nose plug but instead of pinching the nose

shut, there are two little plugs that are inserted into the

nostrils themselves to hold the airways open.

Does The Future Hold The Perfect Snoring Treatment?

An innovative method in snoring treatment has recently been

introduced, the Snore Stopper. This non-surgical anti-snoring

treatment is very innovative. It is worn around the arm or

wrist and provides a small shot of electricity when the machine

senses the sound of a snore. The small electrical shock feels

like a tiny pinch but is sufficient to alert the snorer to the

  fact that he is snoring.

Currently this program and others like it that focus on the use

of electronic stimulators to modify undesired behaviors is still

new and there is little to measure in terms of positive and

  negative results.

However, it is important to show that the ideas of how to

modify the behavior of a snorer are still being generated and

that there is hope that someday in the future the perfect

  solution will be created.

  Domestic verses International Adoption

This is an interview with Jean Stenzel, President/CEO of

Forever Families, Inc., a licensed adoption agency, given

  by Patricia Bennett.

Jean Stenzel is one of the co-founders of the agency

  located in Novi, Michigan.

She has been working in the social work field since 1989

after completing her Bachelor of Science degree from Lake

Superior State University. Jean went on to earn her Masters

in Social Work degree in 1996 from Wayne State University.

Jean was the main facilitator in the adoption of my son in

  April of 2000.

PB: Is it a lot more difficult to adopt an infant here in

the United States than to adopt over seas?

JEAN: Not really, it tends to be more expensive instead.

Down sides are: expense, there are children in some

countries who can be adopted under a year, but not an

infant; you have to travel there – at least one parent –

  there are some escort adoptions but not as many as before;

social/health history can be very little or sketchy. Up

sides are: if you worry about birth parent or future birth

family contact; children are waiting to be adopted; you can

  choose your child; you don't have to wait to be selected;

time – this process can many times be shorter than waiting

for an infant – that depends on country you choose to adopt

from. Another upside is that this pool of adoptive

families doesn't fill up and close – which can happen with

  domestic waiting family pools.

PB: How about the eligibility requirements between the two?

JEAN: Eligibility requirements are very similar; biggest

difference is that all your supporting documents must be

apostiled, a dossier must be created with these documents

and you must complete an immigration process.

PB: What is the percentage of U.S. vs. Overseas adoptions

  with your agency?

JEAN: they are almost equal, since we do not do

international placements ourselves, we could gauge it by

the number of completed home studies. Once we complete the

home study the family would go to another licensed agency

  for placement.

PB: Can you discuss the main differences between Domestic

and International adoptions in terms of the wait for

  placement and costs?

JEAN: Waiting itself is probably the main difference

between domestic and international adoptions because once

your dossier is sent to the country of origin of the child

the waiting time can be as little as 3 months to as much as

18 – 24 months depending on the country. Certain countries

such as China only allow a certain number of adoptions per

year and the families tend to travel in groups, so it

really would depend. Also, certain other countries the

wait depends on the age of the child you wish to adopt,

older children the wait is not as long as it is for the

  youngest ones.

PB: What are some of the most important factors to consider

  when choosing an agency?

JEAN: Comfort, honesty, information they can provide you

about their programs, no hidden costs or agendas,

availability to families once they become clients. Denise

and I believe that choosing an adoption agency is like

interviewing a new employee, you want to meet with several

to see who is out there and find the fit that's best for

your family. As I always tell people, I know we are great

and will do a good job, but sometimes we are not the right

fit for a family and that is a decision that only they can

make by interviewing other agencies. Also, there are red

flags that you should watch out for when interviewing

  agencies:

  * Any agency that says they are the "biggest & best"

  * An agency who says the can guarantee you a time frame.

  * An agency that has a charge for all types of contact you

  have with them.

  * Hidden charges – this is hard to tell but during an

orientation you should be provided with a list of and an

  explanation of agency charges.

  * Escrow accounts for birth parents – money they hold until

they use it with no guarantee that they won't spend it or

  return it.

  * Pre-application fees – then will have an additional

  application fees

  * How often and how much they charge for home studies,

  updates, etc.

  * Won't can't provide you with references

  * Don't finalize your home study until they can put you in

their pool to meet their guaranteed placement time frame

  they promised you.

  * Says they completed the most adoptions of all agencies –

you may want to ask them how many went past the consent

  hearings – disruption percentage.

PB: For people in the beginning stages of the adoption

process, what else do they need to know?

JEAN: Mainly go through orientations with agencies before

you select one and treat this like a business decision

first – meaning use your head and then when you achieve

placement use your heart. Get packets of information from

agencies – get as educated as you can about the process

before you begin. Don't expect to have a placement within

a certain time frame – you may never achieve it. It is a

process, it does take time and patience – remember if you

were able to give birth it would take at least nine months

once you conceived and conception doesn't always take place

the first time. Listen to the adoption workers suggestions

to keep busy, pay attention in orientation.

PB: Anything else you would like to add?

JEAN: Beware of shark like agencies who will take your

money first and then take more money later – sharks only

stay in business because of vulnerable, uninformed people

who want to make a family so bad they will do anything to

achieve it. Parents who come into adoption for infertility

issues are a very vulnerable group who can be easily

manipulated and taken advantage of if they are not careful.

This is why I cannot impress enough on potential adoptive

couples to treat this like a business transaction – you

would not blindly follow someone who was building your

house or selling you a car – yes children are humans and

they do need families to call their own, but not every one

out here who are placing children are not good people and

are in it just for the money – that's the reality of it.

There are many many good adoptions agencies who put forth

good practice, but check us out, all licensed agencies are

on the State of Michigan website under licensed child

placing agencies; follow up on references provided; get

informed/educated about the adoption process. The adoption

process can be a long one, patience is important, trust is

important and it is with a good adoption agency that it

will ultimately be a good process with a miraculous outcome.

PB: Thanks for your time and great informtion!

  JEAN: You're welcome.

You have always had an interest in photography, and would like

to add more exotic landscapes to your portfolio. As a result,

you have made a list of places that you would like to

photograph, and Africa is at the top of the list. You have

decided that you would like to take a safari, so what you need

are some tips as to how to take the best African Safari photos.

  About African Safari Photos

If you have seen African safari photos, you know that you will

need a special kind of camera to be able to capture those

exotic animals up close. It is important to note that the

camera you choose will need a particularly strong zoom lens.

This is because the animals will not come close to the vehicle

you are in, and because they might be easily startled by a

  flash.

Thus, with the flash preferably turned off, you are now ready

to take your African safari photos. Begin by considering the

time of day. The most impressive pictures are usually taken

either at sunrise, sunset, or in direct sunlight.

Thus, if you are beginning your safari during sunrise, you can

begin by taking a picture of the sunrise against a specific

kind of backdrop. If you take an African safari photo of just

the sunrise, that really could be a sunrise from anywhere.

Thus, you need something in the picture that definitely reminds

those who are looking at the picture that it was taken in

  Africa.

For example, if you are preparing to take an African safari

photo of the sunrise and you happen to see a herd of giraffes

walking by, be sure to take a picture. Or, you can ask your

safari guides to pose for a picture against the backdrop of the

sunrise. One more idea is to take a picture of particular

buildings or signs that clearly indicate where you are.

When it comes to taking pictures of animals, your safari guides

will most likely be sure to tell you about the necessary safety

precautions to take. First of all, stay in the vehicle at all

times, even if it is stopped. You might be able to ask the

driver if you can take certain pictures at certain points

  outside of the vehicle.

Next, you should make sure that you are properly insured

against any hazards. This includes your camera equipment. If

you would like more information on the proper ways to take

African safari photos, be sure to do some research on

photography sites that have to do with that topic on the

internet. You are sure to take beautiful pictures of your

  safari with the proper research.

  ============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ======

You want to record your guitar, make your own riffs, music,

etc. You want to plug my guitar into my computer? How to

connect the guitar to the computer the right and best way? What

software? Which audio interface? What about my favorites guitar

effects? What computer? Where to start? It can be overwhelming.

The recording guitarist's computer setup should be something

  like this:

  * Guitar (*GTR with 13 pin connection recommended) * Microphone

for recording Acoustic guitar, vocals etc. * Quality guitar

cable * Audio Interface-Firewire (recommended) or USB *

  Guitar/midi interface * USB/Firewire cables * Computer (Mac

recommended or PC) * Extra external/internal Hard Drive

  (recommended) * Audio recording/sequencer software * Plug-ins:

effects- reverb, compressor, delay, chorus, etc o Dedicated

  guitar effects/amp simulation o Sampler/synths (for 13 pin

guitarists or guitarist who can play keyboards) * Quality

cables to speakers * Powered Speakers * Headphones (so you do

not disturb the wife an kids at those late weekend sessions).

  Some recording setups:

  - Setting up your whole live rig and putting a microphone in

front of the your cabinet, playing at loud volumes so you get

the amp to sound right, push the speaker enough, putting your

speaker in a closet, using a blanket to damping volume, etc.

-You could use a load on you speaker and record direct.

  - Use a preamp that is compensated for direct recording as the

front end. You can plug this into outboard effects or add

  plug-ins

  - You could record from your pedal board or any outboard

multi-effects you might own. You probably end up with a direct

type sound. Some multi-effects have amp simulation that might

take the edge off the direct sound.

With any of these scenarios you are committing yourself to the

recorded track. If you record with effects, you can't change it

later. You would have to re-record! And if you do not re-record

on the same day or you have to come back and have to set up the

rig again, hopefully the knobs setting were written down, place

the speaker in the same place etc, etc.... If you get into the

recording other instruments or mixing the song and you want to

change the guitar sound, tone, effects, etc, -- you have to

  re-record!

With a guitar with a 13 pin connection, either internally or a

pickup installed on the body, you get 100% use of your

software. You can record your guitar sound and get access to

any software synths or samplers that come with the software or

  as a plug-in add-on.

With a software computer base system, you can change almost

everything after you have recorded--amps, effects, mics, mic

placement and more. You do this with plug-ins. You can save all

your presets, sounds, etc. You could have multi-guitar tracks

with different settings all from recording one track. The

flexibility is there! Yes, there are purists out there-

"software can't sound like tubes". Well, the software is

  getting pretty close!!!!

There is a lot of software out there. You do not have to spend

a lot of money AND it is always improving. You buy a box.

(i.e.hard disk recorders, and others mentioned above), you have

bought a box. You usually can't upgrade without buying a new

  box.

People use computers every day at work or home- Microsoft

Office (Word, Excel Power Point, etc) Email, Internet. Use it

to record your guitar and music!!

Hopefully, this helps and you can check out more at

"A man who has riches without understanding is like the beasts

  that perish."

  Psalm 49:20

I have made a challenge to myself. Every time I hand money

to someone, swipe a card, or write a check, I am going to say

out loud "this is Gods money". Every time I receive money, I

am going to do likewise. Why? Because this is the truth and I

along with everyone else need to hear it. This is the

"understanding" that Psalm 49:20 is talking about.

Gaining wealth for any purpose other than advancing Gods

Kingdom is really a waste of time. And time is very short.

Jesus told a parable about a farmer who had a bumper crop. His

farm produced so well that he had no place to store his extra

grain. So, he decided to tear down his barns and build larger

ones. He said to himself "You have plenty of good things laid

up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.

Then God said to the man, "You fool! This very night your

life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you

  have prepared for yourself?"

The next thing Jesus says sums it up perfectly. "This is how it

will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not

  rich toward God." (Luke 12:21)

The man in Jesus' story was "like the beasts that perish". He

was only conscious of himself, and his needs, and with his

  death, his legacy ended.

When we gain wealth, large or small, what do we say to

ourselves? Are we like the rich fool, like an animal thinking

only of "number ONE - ourselves"? Or, are we saying our loud,

  "this is God's money!"

So how can we be "rich toward God"? Notice that in Luke's

account, Jesus does not condemn the man for saving money. The

issue and problem occurs when we do not give back to Him.

A common question is "how much?" I believe that questions

must be asked about our money, our time, and indeed

`everything' . Ask yourself these questions: How can I be a

blessing today? What are ways that I can enrich other people's

lives? Where can I give? What can I do today for God's

kingdom? How can I have better understanding regarding my

riches, rather than being like a beast that perishes?

A common mistake is when people think "I don't have any money,

so I will give of my time". I used to think this way, but now

it is clear to me that avoiding giving money is a thought that

comes from fear – fear that God will not provide for my needs.

But I was wrong – that thought is not only wrong, it is a lie

  that too many fall for.

Rather, we know that He faithfully always has and always will

provide for our every need. There's the understanding the

Psalmist is talking about. Let us strive to understand more

completely and be more rich toward God!

Believe in Gods promises. Give joyfully and see the favor that

the Lord will add to your life.

The only place that a person can gain true understanding is

from the Word of God, the Bible. I encourage you to read it

daily, and ask God to give you understanding. He Will.

There are dozens of good ways to send people to your website.

These methods come with a wide variety of results and difficulty.

Attempting various methods and studying the results has been a

focus of mine. I'll review one of my favorites for you.

Offer something FREE to your visitors.

There is a high perceived value on the part of your visitor if

you can provide them with useful information. By capturing and

sharing this free information, you can make somebody's life

better and easier in many regards.

It's simply human-nature that you must constantly work to

over-come a basic mis-trust on the part of your visitor. This

level of mis-trust MUST be overcome before you can succeed in

  your efforts.

Your focus should be to find and share valuable information.

Finding (and sharing) information on-line is the quickest and

most effective. It doesn't take much search time before you will

be discovering subjects and information that folks want to know.

This shows you the topics that are being inquired upon and which

you will want to include in the information you give away.

One strategy you can employ is to share the information in the

form of a multi-day mini-course that people can receive from you.

Make the information package you send be of top-quality for

maximum results. A little more time and attention at this point

will have tremendous benefit in the value of your subscriber

list. It costs much less than you might think to do this.

You will be offering to share this information in exchange for

your visitor's name and e-mail address. A 'squeeze page' is

the best tool to use for capturing this information. A

squeeze-page is simply a basic website that presents your message

  offering the information.

Some very professional design work is available at affordable

prices these days. Your own squeeze page can be up and capturing

names for you in a very quick time.

If you would like to have your own squeeze page up and running,

let me know. This is a great starting point in establishing your

  own highly-profitable list.

With care, your subscriber list can be cultivated and a long-term

relationship built with the members. You can build a very

rewarding and long-lasting enterprise by steadily and

thoughtfully putting these concepts to work.

Like any offline business, you are providing genuine value to

your customers who have grown to trust your motives and your

interest in helping them. You can be paid very well in the

  process.

The best strategy in any relationship- selling environment is one

where you give before ever trying to take. As with other

strategies, here, again you are providing something of value free

to the reader. This time it is in a different format and is made

available to the reader using different tools and strategies.

Quality in what you provide and how you provide it is essential,

  easy and inexpensive.

A focus on providing information to the people you wish to reach

should be foremost in your mind. They will be willing to buy

something from you (now or in the future) only if they first

perceive that you have something they need or want. The biggest

obstacle you will always face with new readers is one of NO

TRUST! Providing something free is a great way to start building

it. Valuable information can be found readily on the internet.

You also likely have more information and knowledge of your own

than you realize. There are many sources of information where you

can find topics of interest to huge numbers of people.

The article should inform, educate and even enthuse the reader,

but should NOT sell something. Your articles are not the place to

sell some product or service. It is their job to inform and

establish your credibility and TRUST! Your key marketing tool

with the article publishing strategy is found in using a resource

box. This is simply an area at the end describing who you are and

giving your website address where they can visit and benefit by

  what you offer there.

I've seen a tremendous piece of software in action that

automates the process of article-writing. This tool merges blocks

of words, uses a 30,000 word thesaurus and manges data bases, as

well. There is some new software out there (along with people-run

businesses) that helps with article production as well as

  distribution.

Article writing and publishing should be part of an on-going

strategy. Computers and professional service companies make this

vital function much easier. If you want more information on these

useful tools (or anything else in this article), just contact me.

Pure Bottled Water Clubs In The Federal Government

  Element H2O

http://www.elementh2o.com  (Related)

Generally speaking, the Federal Government does not purchase pure

bottled drinking water for Federal employees unless it can be

proved that agency drinking water is unsuitable for drinking.

Proof of water quality however, is a long and time consuming

process and many agency employees are forced to drink low

quality, bad tasting tap or well water in the Washington D.C.

  metropolitan area.

Nevertheless, many Federal agency employees now purchase pure

drinking water by forming water clubs. Water clubs are formed

from individual employees with shared interests of maintaining

good health and drinking pure water as a start. The club that is

formed agrees to purchase bottled water delivery and usually

agrees to rent or buy one or more water coolers for club use on

  the agency premises.

The club gains purchasing power based on the strength of it

membership and the members gain the advantage of pure drinking

water for office and event consumption. Office consumption

usually takes the form of regular delivery of 5 gallon bottles

for water cooler use and 20 oz and 12 oz. small package PET

bottles for events or other club occasions.

Some Bottled Water Companies Offer Specific Programs Tailored To

  Water Clubs.

In Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C. metro area at least

one purified bottled water company offers programs tailored to

water clubs in the Federal Government. These program offer volume

discounts and flexible delivery dates as well as responsive

customer service based upon the latest technology and trained

  staff.

In addition the quality of the drinking water is important. Some

bottled water companies merely repackage tap water while other

bottled water companies use water from springs or artesian wells

that may contain contamination, harmful minerals or bacteria.

What to Look For In a Bottled Water Supplier.

If you are forming a water club in the Washington D.C.

metropolitan area it is wise to conduct some due diligence before

you choose a water supplier. What to look for:

  * A supplier with the highest quality water.

Distilled/oxygenate d water is considered by many experts to be

  the purest water.

  * A supplier with flexible programs that address the needs of

  water clubs including:

  - Volume pricing agreements

  - No cancellation charges

  - Quality bottles with no spill caps and handles for easy use

  - Flexible and changeable delivery schedules

  - Flexible billing procedures

  * A supplier with trained customer service personnel and a

  culture of customer service.

Water clubs are becoming more common for Federal Government

employees as a way to avoid the low quality tap water found in

the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and it is important to

  ============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ======

If you are looking for a way to be successful in whatever you

do, you may be struggling to find the best formula to help you

do so. The truth is that it takes two main components in order

to be a success in anything.

The first component is motivation and the second is goal

setting. In order to be successful, you need to have a balance

  of these two components.

Without one, the other is useless. There are many people who

are great at setting goals and then follow up with no

motivation. They tend to get confused when they rarely meet

  their goals.

It can be difficult to have the right balance. If you are

someone who wants to be a success but will continue to get lost

along the way, read more to figure out what you can do to get on

  the right track.

  Finding Motivation:

Motivation is a difficult thing to stir up on your own. We are

often motivated naturally to do things. For instance, when we

are hungry, we are motivated to find a place to eat. When

someone says they lack motivation, they are not being honest

  with themselves.

Everyone has motivation inside of them. The difficult part may

be funneling your natural motivation supply to specific goals

you have in mind. Once you know how to motivate yourself, you

will find it easier to stay on task.

Each person can be motivated in a different way. Some people

work great on a reward motivation system. In this system the

participants reward themselves each time they meet a goal.

If you are trying to lose weight, then you can reward yourself

with a new outfit each time you meet a goal in your plan. If

you are trying to spend less, you can reward yourself with a

night out each month you follow your budget exactly.

Many people respond well to this type of reward system,

especially if they were raised in a home that practiced the

  same system.

  Setting Goals:

Along with finding your motivation, the other equally important

aspect of being a success is learning to set goals.

The most important thing to remember when setting goals is that

you should always set realistic goals. Be aware of your

  capabilities.

It is fine to push yourself a little, but if you create goals

that are not realistic, then you will likely give up trying to

meet them. Often people who set unrealistic goals are capable

of the goal itself, but are exhausted at trying to reach it all

  at once.

With many goals, like weight loss goals, you should break them

up into smaller goals. You can work on part of the goal at a

  time.

For instance, if you want to lose 100 pounds, it can be

difficult to stay motivated with that huge number in mind,

especially when the average person can lose a few pounds a

week. Try setting a weekly goal of losing two pounds. If you

exceed that goal then you can celebrate, but you may find that

each goal is right on target.

The less pressure you put on yourself to succeed, the easier it

  will come.

When you do set a goal, make sure that you are constantly

reminded of your goal. You can tell those around you of your

goal so you will feel accountable for following through.

You can also create notes to post around your home, office, or

car in order to help you keep on track. No matter what your

goal is, it must be remembered each day. As creatures of

habit, we can easily train ourselves to be successful and meet

  our goals.

When we are constantly focused on the goal at hand, we will be

  better able to do so.

When you put 50% motivation and 50% goal setting into something

you can guarantee you will succeed. Remember that everyone has

  the ability to be motivated.

Each person may require a different technique, but we can all

be motivated just the same. Also, be sure to set goals often.

Reasonable goals are those that you are capable of meeting.

Never push yourself too hard with your goal or you might risk

  getting burned-out and quitting.

Creating a balance between motivation and goal setting is the

key to all success however, so keep trying and you will get it

  right!

Pacific, and ranks as the first among other states of the

country which has the most population. The four large cities of

California are San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles and, San

Jose. Aside from its diverse topography, its ethnic population

of California has reached up to $1.62 trillion. This is a great

opportunity which investors should not miss. The GDP of the

state ranks as the eighth largest around the globe. This is

because of its important economic regions like; the central

valley of California which is home to its agriculture, the

Silicon Valley, and the regions of the state which highly

  produces wine.

The Rich Geography of the State

California has various geographic locations like; beautiful

beaches, snowcapped and coastal mountains, fertile valleys,

Ok the title is a bit over the top but in a round about way it is

true. Many swimming molds live in and swim through the thin film

of water on wet plant leaves and ruin many important crops during

extra wet growing seasons. These molds often have a very negative

effect on agriculture and are directly responsible for the deadly

  Irish Potato Famien.

Some make their homes in moist frog skin and cause a deadly

disease that has been decimating frog populations around the

world for several decades now. While others cause a common fuzzy

white growth of mold on tropical fish.

These molds in at least some stages of their complex life cycles

propel themselves through water with the aid of tiny whip like

structures called flagella. Flagella are those long whip like

structures that are found on some cells such as sperm cells and

are one celled plant like Eugenia protozoans which push

  themselves through water.

In his book The Fifth Kingdom Dean Kendrick noted mycologist

(mold biologist) discusses three phylum (large groupings) of

  swimming molds.

  1) PHYLUM CHYTRIDIOMYCOTA

The first group is known as chytridiomycota these are true fungi

and they have a single flagellum at the rear of the cell, this

flagellum propels the mold cell through the water just like the

flagellum at the rear of a sperm cell propels sperm cells.

Around 1998, Joyce Longcore determined that a type of

chytridiomycete mold was causing the death of many frogs around

the world by infecting their skin. You may not have heard of it

but widespread frog deaths have been a serious concern for

  decades now.

  2) PHYLUM HYPHOCHYTRIOMYCOTA

The 2nd group that Dean goes on to discuss is the kingdom

Chromista phylum hyphochytriomycota. They have a single harry

flagellum at the front. Though similar to the above molds, these

  are not true molds.

  3) PHYLUM OOMYCOTA

The Third group is the kingdom Chromista phylum oomycota, they

seem to be split and cannot make a clear decision on if it is

better to have one smooth flagellum at the rear or to have a

harry one at the front, so the oomycetes have opted for two

flagella at the side, one of the two is a harry flagellum that

points to the front and the other is a smooth one that points to

  the rear.

Oomycetes make up the water molds that cause many common fungal

infections in fish including tropical aquarium fish, as well as

downy mildew that cause serious crop damage around the world

every year. Most importantly oomycetes caused the Irish Potato

Famine. This famine caused the death of one million Irish people

and caused millions to emigrate from Ireland including the

ancestors of Al McNamara of Abode Inspections, one of Americas

first ASHI home inspectors. He was my mentor and introduced me to

the home inspection field in 1993.

Some of the above organisms have a flagellum during it's

reproductive state only while a few exist as a single celled

flagellated mold it's entire life. Most of the above live in

water, moist soil, or in the thin film of water on wet plant

leaves. A few even live on the surface of single grains of flower

pollen. Obviously, none of the above water molds are common in

moldy homes. However, it is interesting to understand that these

microscopic molds swim and cause serious negative impacts on

humans, plants, and animals around the world.

  Trust Is A Story

http://www.ActionPlan.com  (Related)

One of the terms that's frequently bandied about in business and

marketing is "trust." This is an important topic, in fact

marketing is all about trust. It's about how you create it,

  build it and maintain it.

  But what is trust anyway?

We all know that trust is about keeping our word and doing a

great job and maintaining our integrity. But that's only the

foundation. All of that is required just to stay in business.

Much more important is understanding that trust is a story you

tell your prospects and clients every day. And if you tell the

right story, the ultimate outcome is that people feel good about

doing business with you (and then tell others).

Very few people actually think, "Can I trust this person, can I

trust this business?" And even fewer people ask for solid

evidence on which to base this trust (credentials, education,

  track record).

No, instead we listen to the story the business is telling us.

And if the story fits the way we see the world, if the story is

authentic, and if the story makes us feel good, then trust grows

  automatically.

In fact, we make decisions about trusting a business or a

professional in just a few moments. You see, the story of a

business is conveyed by every single visual, verbal and sensory

  message delivered to the prospect.

And the reaction is almost instantaneous.

You shake someone's hand and they don't look you in the eye.

You come to their web site and the design is dull. You read the

headline on the site and you feel confused. When you send an

email asking a question, the answer takes days and doesn't

really give you the information you were looking for.

How does all of this make you feel?

Any brilliant story about your services was drowned out by the

delivery of that story. Trust plummets. And it doesn't matter to

the prospect how great you are at delivering your service or what

wonderful results you've had with past clients or how many

diplomas are hanging on your wall.

The story you communicate goes way beyond the content of the

story. The story, as far as the prospect is concerned, is the way

the story is packaged. In fact, the story IS the package.

So if you want to build trust, you've got to tell a story that

makes your prospect think, "Wow, this makes sense, this feels

good, this feels right, this is exactly what I'm looking for!"

And then you need to keep telling that story at every single step

of the marketing process: when someone asks what you do, when

they look at and read your web site, and when they call you with

  a question.

When you do all of this, believe me, they'll end up doing

business with you and telling others, because it FEELS GOOD doing

business with you. You'll be giving them exactly what they want

and they will put themselves completely in your hands.

  Now that's trust.

Make it your highest priority to build trust by telling stories

that engender trust. Make your story authentic. Make it

passionate. Make it sincere. Make it fun. And realize that, above

all, your story goes way, way beyond words.

What story are you already telling your prospects? Look at how

you're presenting your business in person, on the phone, on the

web, in print, and by email.

If someone else were telling the story you are currently telling,

would you trust them? Or would you run the other way?

Starting A Home Based Business - Nail Technician As A Home Business

Nail technicians have taken over from manicurists and are

in great demand nowadays. Up until a couple of years ago,

most people were satisfied with doing their own manicure at

home. Having a professional manicure at a salon was a

luxury reserved for special occasions. Then acrylic nail

extensions arrived and, since then, decorative nail

finishes (for toenails as well as fingernails) have become

  wildly popular.

As well as acrylic and gel nail extensions, there are nail

tips and all kinds of artistic embellishment available.

The elegant extended fingernails can be studded with

rhinestones, dotted with glitter or painted with seasonal

pictures. The days when nail color was the only choice you

needed to make when having a manicure are long gone.

There is enormous potential for earning money as a

self-employed nail technician. You only have to pass by a

nail salon a few times to see how busy they are at all

times of day and, if you want to try out nail extensions

for yourself, you will find there is a long waiting list

for appointments. Starting your own home based business as

a nail technician will give you much more control and

flexibility in your working hours than you would have if

you worked for someone else in their salon.

If you offer a nail design service from home, you can offer

three things that will put you ahead of the salons:

  1. Flexible hours. You can offer evening and weekend

appointments for people who are at work during the day or

want to get their nails done when their partner is at home

to look after the children. You can also offer an

  emergency repair service.

  2. Discounted rates. Fancy fingernails are not cheap to

maintain but your overheads will be far lower than those of

a salon owner. You can, therefore, compete with the salons

on price and still make a good profit.

  3. Mobile service. To put yourself even further ahead of

the salons, you can offer a mobile nail technician service.

This will be a valuable service for people such as mothers

who don't want to take young children to a salon, disabled

people who find travelling difficult and anyone where

transport would be a problem or parking a nuisance.

The basic equipment you will need to work from home as a

nail technician is not expensive and, due to the popularity

of nail extensions, supplies are readily available and can

be purchased conveniently online. Always use the highest

quality products. If you are running your own nail

technician business from home, you will have little in the

way of overheads, so there is no need to scrimp on quality.

Nail care is a luxury and your customers will expect to be

pampered with fine quality products. Using poorer quality

materials would be a false economy because they can result

in a poor end product. Always remember that the best form

of advertising is personal recommendation. Word of mouth

can make or break your business. You want your customers

to be satisfied with your service so that they will

recommend you to their friends. If you make the mistake of

using cheap products which give a customer an

unsatisfactory experience just once, that will very likely

be the last time that customer or any of her friends will

  use your services.

Training is the most expensive part of starting a nail

design home business but it is absolutely essential. In

most parts of the United States and the UK, it is illegal

to practice as a nail technician without a licence from

your home State or Local Authority. To obtain a licence

you must be able to show you have attained a recognised

qualification. Having a Certificate to show you have

completed a professional course will also add to your

credibility as a qualified technician with customers.

Training is also vital for reasons of safety and the future

of your business. Failure to undertake a proper training

course is dangerous to you as well as to your customers.

Apart from the obvious danger of leaving a customer with a

manicure that will disintegrate within a few days, there is

the far greater danger that you might cause horrible ugly

(and possibly permanent) damage to a customer's natural

nails. All you are likely to earn that way is a bad

  reputation and a law suit.

If you have never seen what fungal nail infections look

like, do a search on the Internet and have a look at some

pictures. You will then understand why customers would sue

you for damages. It would be highly irresponsible to risk

inflicting this sort of damage on anyone, so make sure you

take a proper training course and use top quality

materials. Remember, business is about competition, so you

want to offer the best service you possibly can. A good

reputation will be your key to building a loyal customer

base who will recommend you to their friends and family.

As the demand for nail technician training has increased,

the number of centers offering training courses has also

increased but they are not all Government accredited

educational institutions. When choosing a nail technician

training center (before paying anything to them) make very

sure the training will lead to a recognised qualification

and not just a worthless diploma invented by the owner of

  the training center.

  ============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ======

Women usually stay healthy. However, they have two periods in

life when they are attacked by a number of physical

inconveniences: at puberty and at middle age. Nobody is okay

during these two times. At puberty there are hormones invasion

in the body as a result of which there are a great deal of

changes in the body such as development of breasts, hair growth

in the pubic region and a different set-up of mind.

What Women's Health Problems are the Most Common?

As women reach and cross the 45 years mark, they should know

that this would mean a second invasion of hormones in the blood

stream. When this happens, the body behaves then in a peculiar

way in response to the hormones released. Some of the early

symptoms of the onset of women's health problem are heart

palpitations, chest pain (indicating heart disease), abnormal

  bleeding (indicating uterine problems), irritability,

depression, insomnia, lack of appetite, hot flushes,

infertility (indicating menopause), and so on.

There is no need to panic because the list is long. However,

the remedies are usually fast and correct. First and foremost

keep in mind that all the women's health problems after 45

years are in one way or other related to menopause. Hence,

treating menopause would actually curtail a great deal of the

symptoms. One of the best and most efficient methods to treat

menopause is by HRT (hormone replacement therapy).

In this method a certain amount of hormones is injected

directly into the blood to immediately intervene and stop the

haphazard hormone production. Once this is in check somehow,

the body would come back to its normal. Most of the women's

health problem will simply disappear after the HRT.

There are other diseases that will attack women, of course.

Please, keep in my mind that when it comes to women's health

problem, or as a matter of fact any health problems early

detection is actually the only way you can prevent serious

  diseases take over your body.

This is why women need to talk about it, and they also need to

take regular check-ups. What are regular check-ups? Well, you

will be happy to know that most big hospitals offer its outdoor

patients packages of tests for use during the New Year,

At menopause women need counseling. They should know

approximately what and how menopause will develop into so they

would be prepared for its onslaught. If the mind is strong,

then the body will have the power to fight all the problems in

  the path.

  ============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ======

The hub of most modern homes is the kitchen. Even though the

purpose of it is to prepare meals, in most families, it is

where you go as soon as you get home, and it is where everybody

in the family hangs out. In a place where we spend most of our

time, we want the room to look great, as well as serve all of

its practical functions. If it doesn't do that now, you may be

thinking about remodeling your kitchen and make it the ideal

place where all the family can relax or work. If you think

about it ahead of time, you will be able to develop a plan that

will give you the dream kitchen that both suits your needs

perfectly and doesn't cost a fortune.

One of the best ways to have a kitchen with a coherent design

is to choose a theme. Doing this will make the task less

daunting, since you will have a starting point. Once you have a

design theme in mind, you will find many decorating ideas in

that theme. Ultra modern, retro, country, European

provincial-there are so many themes in kitchen designs and once

you have chosen yours, you will find the exact cabinets,

appliances, furniture and decorating items to carry it through.

There is no end to the designs for kitchens; just thumb through

some decorating magazines and you will find many ideas to use.

You can choose a kitchen look and imitate it perfectly, or you

can mix and match ideas to suit your whim. There are many great

deals on kitchen remodeling items, both in stores and on line.

Besides the enjoyment you will get from your newly remodeled

kitchen because of how beautiful it looks and functions, an

another great benefit is the value it adds to your home. Of all

remodeling projects, a newly remodeled kitchen adds the most to

the value of a home. The first thing most home buyers look at

is the kitchen, and the appeal a kitchen offers to a home buyer

can make or break the deal. But it does not have to cost a

fortune to add this value to your home. Shop around on line and

you will be amazed at how many deals you can find to keep the

costs of remodeling down, while still getting the quality

products you desire. That is the real value of a kitchen

remodeling- you get a big payoff in terms of increased value in

your home for a relatively small investment. And you get to

enjoy it while you are still living there!

Find a pretty and practical design, plan it out, and then shop

around for the best prices in materials and supplies. You will

have a kitchen that will give you a lot of pleasure and be fun

and comfortable to be in and to work in, while you are adding

resale value to your home. This is a perfect situation for

  every homeowner.

One way to know if a particular scammer is prowling in your

neighborhood is probably by reading about them in the news or

seeing them in a TV news report. These reports could give you

an idea of what these scammers look like or what are the things

to be wary and watch out for.

Anti-virus software programs basically work similarly. When the

vendors know of a new potentially threatening virus, they have a

set of updated signature viruses that could include the new

  virus threat.

Scan and check, check and scan

Other ways and means for viruses to enter your personal

computer is via floppy disks, web sites, email, CD-ROM as well

  as downloaded files.

As much as possible, all these avenues must be checked if they

  contain viruses or not.

For instance, prior to using a particular floppy disk, it must

first be checked for any viruses.

Also, when downloading a specific file from the net, these must

be checked for any viruses. Your own anti-virus software program

usually allows you to specify and check these places for any

viruses. They may also do this scan automatically.

Patch it now, patch it good

The instance your computer's system breaks down, do you have an

idea on how you should restore its functions?

Many vendors have patches whose purpose is to fix any types of

bugs. Usually, vendors offer patches that are free in their own

web sites. When purchasing programs, it is a great idea if you

ask the vendor how they supply patches.

Software vendor programs also have a service that allows you to

a recall. Notices for patches could be received via e-mail

through mailing list subscription. Through this service, one

can easily learn computer problems even if you have yet to

discover them and before any intruders could have the

opportunity to exploit your computer's system. Scan your

registry for free at http://www.registry-cleaners-reviewed.info  (Related)

Be cautious when reading attachments via e-mail Always be

careful when opening received e-mails that carry attachments.

Sometimes, the potentially threatening messages could come from

  unsolicited e-mails.

To be able to determine if an email is safe or not, it would be

best to conduct the following test and ask these questions: did

someone you know send the email? Did you receive this e-mail

before? Is the subject of the email described in a clear

  manner?

A suspicious e-mail usually reads as http://BradPitt.jpg.vbs.  (Related)

Worms could travel this way and reading / opening it could

bring damage to your computer system.

All in all, caution and care is needed to be able to protect

your computer from unnecessary attacks by malicious viruses and

  worms.

A famous saying goes, "Money is the root of all evil." That

might not be completely true, but problems with wealth afflict

people each and every day. It's not that these people are

living in poverty; they simply have problems accepting the fact

that they are not wealthy. This is a common problem that can

impact the way we conduct relationships and live our lives. It

can put a strain on family life and it can tear away at people.

Problems with wealth can begin early in life and if nothing is

done about it, they will continue to have an impact long into

  life.

Many people that have problems with wealth have those problems

because of something that happened in their childhood. It's

common that when there are problems of this nature, a person is

scarred for life. Perhaps your parents didn't have as much money

as you would have liked and you suffered because of it? Perhaps

Christmas at your home wasn't as good as everyone else in the

neighborhood. These problems are normal problems that people

have to deal with each and every day. They are simply mental

afflictions that are difficult to overcome. There are certain

ways that you must deal with them, though. If not, they will

  destroy your life.

Hypnotherapy is one way to deal with problems dealing with

wealth. I have seen many clients who simply had to get over the

mental block concerning their past or current financial

situation. In the past few years, people have come to realize

that hypnosis is a good solution for problems like this. It

isn't just something that they see on television everyday or in

the movies. Hypnosis is not just a trick done in a Las Vegas

show. It is a real solution for problems that otherwise would

  go unchecked.

If your problems with wealth are stripping you of your

lifeblood, then you need to step up and do something about it.

Simply wading through life and acting like nothing is wrong

will eventually lead to disaster. It is easier than you think

to shake those mental blocks relating to wealth. You just need

some help to accomplish this. Get some information on

hypnotherapy and see if it is right for you. It could be the

thing that you have been waiting on in order to improve your

life. At the least, it should help you sleep easier at night.

  ============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ======

If you are going to pursue a big project such as replacing your

windows, you don't want to go about it in a half-cocked way.It

is important to take the time necessary to know all of the

options open to you and what the specific benefit of each

  window type is.

Are you interested in controlling light? Do you want more or

less ventilation? What about security? And is privacy an issue

  for you?

Are you trying to make a small room larger through the use of

windows? All of these questions need to be answered before you

can begin to think about the decorating and architectural

aspects of the window. But these are also very important

aspects. How the windows look on the outside can add a great

deal to the curb appeal of the house, and it has been shown

that new windows add significantly to the value of a home.

Before you get started, you will also have to make sure you are

familiar with the building code in your town or county. Once all

of the basics have been addressed, you can start to think about

installing your windows. This is a project that even a

do-it-yourselfer can manage. There are any number of books and

sites on the internet that can give you step by step directions

on installing replacement windows. Just remember these tips when

you are choosing your windows. Insist on quality. If you choose

good quality from a reputable manufacturer, your windows will

last forty to fifty years, so make a worthwhile investment. Use

a window with a good energy efficiency rating. If you live in a

cool climate, buy windows that are either double glazed or

double layered with gas filling. They afford the greatest

energy efficiency. Look at all of the decorating and

architectural magazines and websites to find the right kind of

windows for your home. Top names may be expensive, but with

research you may be able to find lesser known brands of very

good quality. If you are able to check out the materials and

craftsmanship, you may be able to save a lot of money and still

have a top quality product. For years, windows were nothing more

than a pane of glass inserted in a wood frame. Today's energy

consciousness has meant that windows are now highly engineered.

The old single panel types of windows will only work in the

mildest of climates. If you live in a colder climate, you have

to use energy efficient windows, such as double paned models

that create a sandwich does not allow as much cold air to leak

into the house. These windows also provide sound absorption for

sounds both inside and outside the home. Even more energy

efficiency is attained if you have argon gas between the

layers. And even more engineered than those are the double

paned models that have a coating of low emissivity film between

the layers to further reduce transfer of energy. The frames for

the sashes of all windows can be constructed of wood, wood clad

aluminum or vinyl, vinyl and fiberglass. Wood is the easiest and

most traditional to use. Wood clad aliminum or vinyl is a good

  choice in an area

where there is high humidity or a lot of damp weather.

Homes in these areas also do well with vinyl windows, since

they do not absorb moisture. Vinyl and wood clad vinyl are the

lowest maintenance materials of all window frame materials.

  After the

type of window and type of frame is chosen you still have

another choice with the type of glass you want.

  Clear or tinted?

Do you want a level or bevelled edge? What about tempered

safety glass? YOu can also consider films that can be applied

to your windows that will help save energy costs and also

provide an extra measure of privacy.

  Ohio, like all states, has minimum auto insurance requirements;

however, Ohio's "auto insurance" requirements are a bit

different. You are actually required to obtain, and show proof

of, financial responsibility. So, rather than only being able

to purchase a liability car insurance policy, Cincinnati

drivers are able to choose from a variety of ways to meet the

financial responsibility requirements in Ohio. This makes it

much easier for some Ohio drivers to obtain affordable car

  insurance in Cincinnati.

In Ohio, you can obtain affordable Cincinnati car insurance, or

satisfy financial responsibility requirements, in any of the

  following ways.

  • Purchasing a liability car insurance policy. These are

purchased from insurance companies licensed to do sell auto

insurance in Ohio. The company or agent will provide you with

an insurance card as proof to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles

(BMV) and any officer who requests it.

  • Obtaining a certificate giving proof of financial

responsibility. These are forms that are approved by the Ohio

BMV and signed by an auto insurance agent.

  • Obtaining a certificate of self-insurance. Cincinnati

companies with more than 25 vehicles apply for these, and once

they are approved, the Ohio BMV issues the certificate.

  • Obtaining a Treasurer of State certificate. If you have

$30,000 deposited with the Treasurer of State, you can apply

for this to be your financial information; once approved, the

Ohio BMV will issue a certificate.

You can also choose your affordable Cincinnati car insurance in

the form of bonds. An insurance company licensed to sell auto

insurance in Ohio, or another authorized surety, can issue you

a $30,000 bond. To, the Ohio BMV can issue you a $30,000 bond

if you and another individual sign the certificate and have

$60,000 real estate equity between you.

For more information about choosing any of these to satisfy

Ohio's financial responsibility requirements, contact the Ohio

Department of Insurance or your local BMV location.

If you think that artistic fame comes only to those who are

blessed from the start, then you're normal. I shared this view

until recently. You might harbour lofty goals in your heart, but

sticking to them with persistence takes a heap of a lot of

  faith.

It's more than okay to have lofty goals and intentions. Nothing

wrong with being motivated by what you love either. So, why does

actually working towards your dream seem too much of a stretch?

Many artists assume that they need to anticipate what people

want, and make art that attracts and pleases people.

Recently, I heard an artist saying that every time she paints a

sunset, it sells almost immediately. In her experience, that's

what people want. The moment I heard that sunsets sell really

well, a story my husband told me years ago, sprang to mind.

Bill had a college friend, 55 years ago in Southern California,

who was an art student. This friend, Jack, made a lasting

impression on Bill because of his persistent devotion and just

  plain street smarts.

Jack made "pot boilers", as he called them - paintings sold out

of the back of his old van. Jack would pin a line of blanks on a

line. Then he'd go down the line, painting in all the horizons,

then the sunsets, then the water, then the sailboats, and so on.

What a slick entrepreneur, huh? That's what I thought too. These

pot boilers sold quick and cheap right off the street. They kept

him in supplies so he could do his "real work" and continue

taking classes at Scripps College, Claremont.

Jack paid his way through college by painting signs on grocery

store windows. "Bread 14 cents". He'd clean his brushes by

wiping them on a spare tire in the back of his van. One day,

someone wanted to buy this tire with all its colourful brush

wipes, so he sold it! He seemed to attract fame from the start.

I always wondered what ever became of the audacious Jack. Was he

just a phoney street entrepreneur? After all these years, I

decided to look him up. I googled Jack Zajac recently. And what a

  surprise!

It's true, that he studied sculpture in Rome on several

prestigious scholarships, and is still a very successful,

internationally respected artist. At 78, his work sculptures are

  shown in many world-renown galleries.

He made no pretensions about his sunsets being his life's work.

Jack never fashioned his real work on what he guessed would

please people. From reading his biography, he always had very

firm views on what his goals were.

Jack Zajac may have broken all the rules. . . except one. The

most important one. He knew his calling and followed it, whatever

that took. He instinctively knew that his heart's calling was

  always true.

We won't all have such international acclaim and success as a

Jack Zajac. Nor do we all have such single-minded devotion.

Still, true stories in our time like Jack's are inspiring. They

show us what's possible given the goal and intentions, the faith

  and persistence.

We all have at least one true heart's calling for doing what we

do. Once you find it, there is no doubt. You'll know it without

guessing. Not a long shot or daring, hunch or gut feeling, your

true heart's calling has always been quietly there, waiting for

  you to join it.

Whatever your true heart's calling may be, have you ever longed

to dance out of line; to break the usual rules and see where the

call leads you? You don't have to be stopped by the humble

nature of your calling either. If you're a dish washer, be the

best darned dish washer you can be!

Next to hearing your true calling, taking sovereignty of it,

making a commitment, living your clear intention are the most

difficult. The neat thing about art is, you can practice it at

any age. True devotion is fraught with pitfalls and not for the

faint of heart. But so is life.

"What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"

Mary Oliver, poet Here's wishing you the courage to take flight

  and soar.

  ============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ======

A headache, particularly a severe one, can quickly turn a day

from great to awful. When you're suffering from a headache, all

you really want is relief from the pain, and that can be

  sometimes hard to find.

There are a number of headache remedies for quick relief that

you can try, from traditional to alternative, that will help

you get back on track and living comfortably, as you should. By

using one or a combination of these headache remedies to provide

quick relief, you'll be feeling better in no time.

  Traditional Medicine

It should go without saying that with all the other headache

remedies for quick relief to try, you should make use of the

medicine that's proven to work. By doing so, you'll tip the

scales in your balance even faster, and have long-lasting

  relief as well.

Be sure to keep some aspirin, ibuprofen, or acetaminophen

tablets both at home and at work, so you're never caught

without some form of headache relief. If you are a frequent

sufferer of migraines, ask your doctor for suggestions on what

he can prescribe for headache remedies for quick relief.

  Pressure

The use of pressure points comes from Eastern medicine, and is

another good choice in headache remedies for quick relief. By

applying pressure on particular points in the body, you can

relieve the symptoms of a headache and feel better.

Acupressure makes use of Chinese medical techniques to help

provide headache remedies for quick relief, but this isn't

always an option if you don't know the pressure points or can't

make it to a therapist. One point you can get yourself, though,

is the webbed area between your finger and thumb, a simple

example of headache remedies for quick relief, when you may not

  have access to other methods.

  Herbs

For those looking for natural remedies, herbs are a great

source of headache remedies for quick relief. For instance,

peppermint has been used for a long time to soothe headache

symptoms, and peppermint tea or peppermint extract can help

  ease your symptoms a little.

This herb is just as useful for its aroma, and peppermint

essential oils used as a massage oil or to scent a room might

improve your headache problem. Other herbs, such as

passionflower, can be made into teas and used as headache

remedies for quick relief, with relaxing and pain relieving

  properties.

Ideally, using traditional medicine, herbs, and pressure points

will provide three headache remedies for quick relief, so you

can get to enjoying your life instead of suffering through it.
